Hello, this is Santhosh,
a PhD student tackling AI/ML, addictions, and human life struggles.
I read books, conduct research, and spend time thinking deeply to understand things—almost about everything.
My areas of interest are:
- Technology: Especially artificial intelligence. I’ve written thousands of lines of code. My primary job is to do research, discover new things, publish papers, and file the patents.
- Philosophy: I’ve explored most of it, starting with Thales (pre-Socratic era) to currently trending Mark Manson (is he a philosopher?—I don’t know, but I love his odd thinking.
- Psychology: My journey includes CBT, ACT, Schema Therapy, and more, which I studied intensively during a year of therapy for burnout and a mid-life crisis.
- Spirituality: Not about preaching gods, in my opinion. I’ve delved into the core of Hindu philosophy—Advaita Vedanta, the Upanishads, and the Bhagavad Gita—and I also find Buddhism deeply inspiring.
- Addictions: With over 10 years of experience in dealing with addictions, particularly smoking, I’m soon planning to publish my book, Quit Smoking: Easy Way++. While I’ve drawn inspiration from Allen Carr’s Easy Way to Quit Smoking, I believe his approach has become somewhat outdated given new research and evolving understandings of addiction.
- Connecting with People: This is where my caveman comes into the picture.
- Last but not least: It’s not all about money, but I need it too. Currently working on so-called financial freedom.
